This acrylic pour, "The Horizon" is one which has been made with the help of blowing through a straw, and by also tilting the canvas so as the paint moves across and over. The effect of the acrylic paints colliding with each other created interesting cells which looked like water in the horizon.The canvas measures 30"x 24". A pillow paint of white was first tilted on the canvas to cover the background and then the colors, blues, greens, gold, sienna and white were laid across horizontally to begin the process. The white space was deliberate, and this has created a stunning contrast with the horizon effect.
This piece is an abstract original which has been varnished to protect it, and is ready to hang in your home. It can be hung in any well ventilated room, including your kitchen or bathroom.
Note it can be hung anyway you like, if you would like it other than the way it is shown, just let me know and the hangers can be changed.
